Kennedy Center Prelude Festival
The annual Kennedy Center Prelude Festival celebrates a new season of performing arts in Washington, DC. Participants enjoy a wide variety of performances from from Washington, DC artists such as the National Symphony Orchestra, the KC Jazz Club, Lily Cai Chinese Dance Company, Pete Geist, Visual Comedian, and much more. The Kennedy Center Prelude Festival gives participants a glimpse of Washington premieres in the upcoming theater season.

Sunday, September 5, 2010 at 8 p.m. West Lawn of the U. S. Capitol. The National Symphony Orchestra performs a free Labor Day concert.
